wel.. i got the game only last week. i played a 2 games so far. call it beginners luck or not .. i actually fared much better than my allies.. i have been playing dota for almost 6 years now... so i guess tats y.. but m stil very very new. i hardly know abt any hero.so far my fav has been garen and shyvana... is garena a safe place for me who just started playin LOL?
ReplyDeleteWell if you are in India, you should play on Garena. 80% of Indians play on this server. You will have to download the lol client again though. But it would be better to start playing on Garena as soon as possible because we get better pings here and everyone in India is switching to Garena.

the pings i get in NA server are abt 280-290.. but there is no lag or delay of any sort... :-\ download the client again!? i took about 2 days whole to download this one.. :-O well i ll see.. how big is the garena client .. any idea Maninder?

Deletehowever your pings seem good. i used to get 300+ ping on na. Sometimes 400+
You may want to stick to the na server because sometimes there are lot of ping and disconnect issues on garena.
What i will recommend is - keep playing on na, when have some time. download garena client link- http://lol.garena.com/ and compare your pings on both servers. If you like you can switch to garena or stay on na or you can play on both servers at same time.
NA servers have this feature that if a player dcs.. he can reconnect to the game as long as the game is on.. is the same feature in GG client too?
ReplyDeleteanother thing about gg is.. if we r a low lvl player.. hosts will kik/ban .. unlike NA .. lemme see.. thnx for the help anyways..
well the game is exactly same so same rules apply. And host will kick/ban on custom games only. for normal games with random teammates you will be matched with same or similar level players. So you keep leveling up till level 30 and keep playing with similar level players. You start with no runes/masteries and level1 so just keep playing and practicing and level up.

ReplyDeleteanother thing, everything like new champ/skin available on na server comes to garena 1 or 2 or weeks or even more late. About Garen - his upgrade is only visual. I don't think his stats or skills will have any effect, except for his q which may be little more damaging. So can play old garen, its same as new one.

Well i can't say bro because champs are priced differently on different servers. Here on garena Garen is only 450 ip i think, so very easy to buy. And i will recommend buying champs with ip only. because skins can be bought only with rp. So when you have your favorite champ which you play all the time, so can easily buy his skin with rp. I'll recommend keep playing with free champs available until you have ip to buy garen. :)

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately there is no server for India for League of Legends and there is no chance for India getting any soon. Majority of Indian players play on Garena(SEA) server. Download garena plus and then download League of Legends from garena plus link - http://intl.garena.com/

DeleteI play on EUW right now. My ping averages at around 120ms. I'm ranked silver and I already have a lot of champions. Will it be worthwhile to switch to Garena ?
ReplyDelete120ms is really good. and playing on official servers is always better than garena. So, if you don't experience any lag, stay on EUW.

ReplyDeleteHey, try using WTFAST, it solved ping issues on Garena for me.
DeleteI used to get 120 - 160 pings. From middle on jan 2017 it has shot up to 380 - 500. Unplayable. using tata photon.
ReplyDeleteI used to have a lot of Ping issues on Garena. Try using wtfast. It worked for me and fixed the issues. Also I never paid for it, just authenticating facebook kept it working.
